Pious people infected sap though, they would lead to forgiveness and the grace of God. Therefore, we are commanded to fear when Allah revealed His adzab. ''And guard yourselves from the torture that does not befall the people of you just do wrong. And surely Allah is strict in punishment.''(Al-Anfal: 25). Presumably, this paragraph needs to be present when the disaster struck. Especially, when only a few seconds the biggest disasters in the history of Indonesia and Asian countries. That disasters can not be addressed limited to ordinary natural events. But, also take some punishment of God and a huge warning and frightening for those who are still in the world.
Attitude that is immediately presented Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab when a large earthquake struck. Narrated by Ubaid that Safiya bint Umar addressed after the earthquake,''You like to innovation is not in the Qur'an, the sunna Prophet, and the scholarly consensus (general agreement) of the Companions of the Prophet, so that the wrath and punishment of God come down more quickly.''( Sunan Al-Bayhaqi). Umar didalami interesting statement. Was he the head of state so fair, including the Gentiles, as well as firm and straight, following the instructions of God during his reign.
At times Umar, he would not let a big kemungkaran, sort of idolatry, apostasy, human slaughter, kill each other, gambling, prostitution, ignorance and fanaticism. Thus, there is no security guarantee from the wrath of God.
We, who have heard stories of people who have been earlier and witnessed terrible events that befall human beings, if there is goodness in our hearts we will be shocked of course, remember, recognize themselves, and began interospeksi. So that will really understand and then return to the path and direction of God Almighty., To approach, confront and purify the face of worship to Him, seek forgiveness reproduce the errors and omissions have been made.
